Corporate Advantage of Franchising
Often times the most successful entrepreneurs start businesses in fields with which they are familiar. They begin their businesses from scratch in an industry where they have extensive experience and feel comfortable taking the plunge into entrepreneurship. The risks involved in opening a business leave little room for exploration into unknown industries that would require expensive trial and error processes. Franchising provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to open a business in a field that they may have little to no prior experience. By offering an extensive and thorough support system, the franchisor can provide an expert resource for franchisees that may run into unexpected problems or situations. Franchising offers the comfort of corporate backing while still having the freedom to run your business.
