We sat down with Right at Home franchisee, Amie Palffy, to discuss her process in buying a franchised home care business. Aimee, a financial planner, started researching the home care industry after some personal experiences in exploring home care for her family. After evaluating several different home care franchises and conducting her own due diligence, Amie ended up purchasing an existing Right at Home business that gave her territorial rights to an area that could support several locations.

Given the aging demographics of the US, the home care industry continues to grow and offers a very attractive investment opportunity. However, finding the right employees and 24/7 demands of the job can make for a challenging lifestyle. Amie was thorough in her research and was aware of the demanding work schedule before she joined, and she urges any potential franchisee to make sure they invest the time and resources to learn as much about the business as they can before investing.
