Right at Home is redefining how franchisees deliver and manage care by integrating tools like RightAssist, PocketRN, CRM systems, and AI-powered health tracking.

As the senior care industry evolves, Right at Home is staying ahead of the curve by equipping its franchisees with innovative technologies that improve care delivery, streamline operations, and expand access to critical services. With a clear focus on empowering clients to age safely at home, the brand has rolled out several new tech-driven initiatives — from advanced in-home monitoring systems to virtual dementia care support and AI-powered health tracking. These tools not only enhance client outcomes but also give franchise owners a competitive edge in their local markets.

Right Assist: A Game-Changer in In-Home Monitoring

Right at Home’s latest advancement, RightAssist, is already transforming how care is delivered across the system. Powered by PacSana and Connected Home Living (CHL), this tool uses wearable and in-home sensors to track changes in clients’ routines, helping caregivers proactively adapt care plans.

“We really wanted to find a technology that checked all the boxes,” said Brady Schwab, Chief Growth and Strategic Operations Officer. “From a client perspective, it needed to secure their privacy without feeling invasive. From our franchisee perspective, it needed to fit within the business model.”

Jamie Robinson, a longtime Right at Home franchisee, said his decision to implement RightAssist was personal and professional. “I had personal experience just dealing with an aging parent,” he said. “I always looked at it and said, ‘What would have been beneficial to help her live safely at home?’”

RightAssist offers 24/7 fall detection, remote care coordination, and wellness monitoring — all without relying on wearables or cameras. “It gives peace of mind to know that when a caregiver goes to sleep, their aging parent can still be monitored,” Robinson said. “This is a major differentiator in our market.”

PocketRN and the GUIDE Program: Revolutionizing Dementia Care

Right at Home’s partnership with PocketRN supports seniors with dementia and their families through the Medicare-funded GUIDE program. The program includes 24/7 access to dementia-trained clinicians, medication management, and support services for family caregivers.

Doug Robertson, Senior Director of Government Affairs, explained that Right at Home formed a strategic alliance with PocketRN to deliver these services. “GUIDE is a targeted Medicare benefit for those in Original Medicare with dementia,” said Robertson. “It’s designed to support not just the beneficiary, but also the family member.”

The program helps franchisees by providing a new, reimbursable revenue stream while offering critical care.

Adam Bliss, a participating franchisee, highlighted the collaboration’s broader significance. “This is a really big step in the right direction to fund the type of care necessary to increase the quality of life for people,” he said. “And hopefully, what we’ll prove out over the years of the pilot is that some of the financial burden and cost in the medical care system will also be impacted positively.”

CRM Pilot Program: Streamlining Operations and Driving Growth

In addition to care enhancements, Right at Home is piloting a new CRM platform designed to help franchisees grow top-line revenue and operate more efficiently.

“We really wanted to bring technology into all layers of the business,” said Schwab. “We identified the CRM as a strategic way to contribute to revenue growth… and provide insights and data captured through the process.”

After building out the system on the corporate side, early adopters in the franchise network are beginning to test the platform, with a wider rollout expected later this year. The goal is to help offices understand how clients are acquired and retained and measure satisfaction across the care journey — all while reducing manual reporting.

RespirAI Partnership: AI-Powered COPD Monitoring at Home

In collaboration with RespirAI Medical, Right at Home is working to develop a home monitoring platform for individuals with chronic pulmonary conditions such as COPD. Funded through the BIRD Foundation, the program uses AI and wearable sensors to detect early signs of flare-ups, helping seniors avoid hospitalizations.

“We are really excited about what this technology could bring to those that we serve,” said Schwab. “It allows them to get the right medical intervention in the home before the worst possible outcomes occur.”

This innovation marks a new frontier for Right at Home as it expands its clinical technology capabilities and develops new ways to support chronic disease management.

Preparing Franchisees for the Future of Home Care

Right at Home’s commitment to innovation is rooted in its mission to improve the lives of those it serves. “We don’t want to do things just because they’re new,” Schwab said. “We want to build on what we’re doing to take the next step forward.”

These technologies — RightAssist, PocketRN, the CRM platform, and RespirAI — reflect years of planning and investment. And for franchisees like Adam Bliss, the impact is already clear: “Integrating technology into your agency is not an option; it’s a necessity… It sets you apart to be a thought leader in your local market.”

With technology at the forefront, Right at Home is helping its franchisees offer better care, build stronger businesses, and lead the senior care industry into the future.
