Local Entrepreneur to Bring Senior Assistance Business Right at Home to Tolland County, Connecticut.

After witnessing her 99-year-old grandma benefit from in-home assistance, Rebecca Gilbert-Johnson began to see aging in place as the new normal for seniors.  When she began looking for a new career opportunity, Rebecca realized that her community could benefit from the services a Right at Home franchise could offer.  She knew a friend who owned a Right at Home and thought it had done very well.  When Rebecca found out they had an open territory in her hometown, she opened her own franchise in June, with hopes to expand throughout the northeast corner of Connecticut.

Rebecca said, “Right at Home has been in business since 1995.  They offer full support and guidance. This has been very helpful for me in this process. I am excited to have the resources to enable seniors to stay in their own environment.”
