Right at Home Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 2, 2021.

Right at Home, LLC (“Right at Home,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, store, use and share information you provide to us, as well as the choices you have with respect to your information. This Policy applies to the information we collect via our online and digital service activities located at rightathomefranchise.com and other digital services in which this Policy is posted or linked (collectively, the “Websites”).

Please read this Policy carefully before you use the Websites or submit information to us. By using the Websites or submitting information to us, you consent to the collection, processing, and retention of your information as described in this Policy.

This Policy does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any website operated by any of our master franchisees, affiliates, or other third parties. At times, it may be necessary for us to make changes to our Policy. We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Websites or submission of information to us after we have made any modifications to this Policy constitutes your agreement to be bound by the revised Policy.

  1. DISCLAIMER

The information you may access via our Websites is provided for informational purposes only, on an “as is, as available” basis, and should not be used as a substitute for the advice of an appropriately qualified and licensed physician or other health care provider. Your use of our Websites is at your sole risk, and we do not make any warranties, either express or implied, concerning the content of the Websites, including the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the Websites. Moreover, please note that each Right at Home franchise is independently owned and operated, and the franchisor (Right at Home, LLC) does not control or manage the day-to-day business operations of any Right at Home franchised agency. Right at Home, LLC expressly disclaims any and all liability for any of its franchisee’s or master franchisee’s failure to satisfy any compliance obligations under applicable law.

  1. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

Information You Provide. Certain areas of the Websites allow you to submit information to us. We may collect information that either directly identifies you or could reasonably be used in combination with other publicly available information to identify you (“personal information”). We may aggregate that personal information and certain non-personally identifiable information as well.

Personal information includes, but is not limited to, the following data:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Street address
  • Country of residence
  • Employment History
  • Financial Qualifications

Depending on the Websites you use, you might not need to provide some of the aforementioned information, but in some cases, you may not be able to access all parts of our Websites if you choose not to provide your information. If you submit personal information relating to other people to us in connection with the Websites, you represent that you have the authority to do so, and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Policy.

Information We Collect Automatically. We may also automatically collect other basic information about you that does not directly identify you, but may correspond with you, your browser, or a particular device. This includes the following data:

  • Device information (e.g. OS type or browser type)
  • Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Browser device (e.g. laptop or mobile)
  • Website usage (e.g. pages viewed, amount of time on page, exit URLs, etc.)
  • Preferred language
  • Location
  • Cookie ID

We may collect this data using the techniques described below:

Cookies. Our Websites may use a tracking technology called a “cookie.” A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website that can be understood by the website that issued the cookie. Cookies enable a website to “remember” the information a user has previously inputted, or in some cases, certain other sites that the user has visited. Cookies may be placed on your computer both by us and by third parties with whom we have a relationship.

The information we collect using cookies and similar technologies may or may not be personally identifiable, but we may link it to personal information that you provide. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you may set your browser to reject cookies or to alert you when a cookie is placed on your computer. Although you do not need to have cookies turned on to visit the Websites, please note that certain parts of the Websites may be inaccessible or may not function properly if cookies are not turned on.

In addition to the cookies we deliver to your device through our Websites, certain third parties may deliver cookies to you for a variety of reasons. For example, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics tool that helps us understand how visitors engage with our Websites. To learn more about Google Analytics, visit https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

Other third parties (including Facebook) may deliver cookies to your computer or mobile or tablet device for the purpose of tracking your online behaviors across nonaffiliated websites and delivering targeted advertisements either on our Websites or on other websites. These third parties use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and similar tracking technologies to collect and use certain information about your online activities, either on our Websites or other websites, to infer your interests and deliver you targeted advertisements.

Web Beacons and Pixels. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons, pixels (or “clear gifs”), and other tracking technologies. Pixels are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognize when someone has visited our Websites. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of visitors from one page within our Websites to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our Websites from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve our Websites performance, to serve targeted advertisements to you and others like you, and to analyze and perform marketing campaigns.

Tracking Technologies. If you would like to opt-out of having interest-based information collected by certain entities during your visits to our Websites or other websites, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. You will be directed to an industry-developed website that contains mechanisms for choosing whether each listed entity may collect and use data for online behavioral advertising purposes. It may be that some of the third parties that collect interest-based information on our Websites do not participate in the industry-developed opt-out website, in which case the best way to avoid third-party tracking of your online behaviors may be through your browser settings and deletion of cookies.

  1. HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION

In addition, the following circumstances are some ways in which we may use your information:

  • to provide the information, products and services you request;
  • for security, credit or fraud prevention purposes;
  • to provide you with effective customer service;
  • to provide you with a personalized experience when you use our Websites;
  • to contact you with special offers and other information we believe will be of interest to you (in accordance with any privacy preferences you have expressed to us);
  • to contact you with information and notices related to your use of our Websites;
  • to invite you to participate in surveys and provide feedback to us (in accordance with any privacy preferences you have expressed to us);
  • to better understand your needs and interests;
  • to improve the content, functionality, and usability of the Websites;
  • to improve our products and services;
  • to market to you and similar audiences;
  • to improve our marketing and promotional efforts; and
  • for any other purpose identified in an applicable privacy notice, click-through agreement, or other agreement between you and us.

We may use information gathered through our Websites to create a compiled, aggregate view of our Websites’ audiences and their usage patterns. We use aggregated information to operate our Websites and to better understand our audience as we develop new products and services.

Sharing Information. We may share your personal information, as necessary, with franchisees, master franchisees, third-party vendors and service providers who provide us with various business services or administer activities on our behalf or their own behalf (including, without limitation, Website maintenance, payment processing, and information technology services). Additionally, we share aggregated information with our third-party service providers as well as with potential investors, advertisers, and subscribers so they can better understand and/or market to our audience. We may also disclose your personal information: in circumstances where we, in good faith, believe such disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law, a court order, or a subpoena; to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to protect the security of the Websites; to enforce or apply our Terms of Use or other agreements; or to protect our or someone else’s rights, property, or safety.

Your personal information may be transferred to a successor organization if, for example, we transfer the ownership or operation of the Websites to another organization, if we merge with or are acquired by another organization, or if we liquidate our assets. In negotiating with a third party about entering into such an arrangement, we may need to disclose your personal information. In such cases, we will take reasonable measures to protect the personal information we disclose. If such a transfer occurs, the successor organization’s use of your personal information will still be subject to this Policy and the privacy preferences you have expressed to us.

  1. HOW WE PROTECT AND STORE YOUR INFORMATION

We maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures to protect the security of your personal information you submit on or through our Websites. However, no website, server, or database is completely secure or “hacker proof.” Therefore, we cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be disclosed, misused, or lost by accident or by the unauthorized acts of others. If you create an account on our Websites, it is your responsibility to protect your login credentials from unauthorized access or use.

We will retain information about you for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or Right at Home’s data retention policies unless a longer retention period is required by law.
