This two-week course is designed to familiarize you with all aspects of the business. Our most successful franchisees are those who continually engage with corporate as well as other franchisees in the system. There are so many opportunities of which to take advantage. Here are just a few:

You have now been in business a year, and things are running like a well-oiled machine. Your Engagement Team will transition from supporting you with day to day tasks to long term strategy. Their goal is to help you grow your business and impact in your local community year after year. Your Engagement Team consists of a:
- Business Performance Coach who provides business coaching, strategic support and advice on how to scale your business.
- Online Marketing Specialist who updates and optimizes your local website and advises on best practices around social media.
- Business Operations Coordinator who provides day-to-day, operational support.
Peer Groups are comprised of 10-12 franchisees with the purpose of embracing collaboration to advance each member’s business. Our owners support each other through best practices, sharing new ideas and critical thinking. Many find learning from their peers to be extremely valuable.

This council is made up of top-performing franchisees across the system with the objective of providing feedback and best practices to the corporate office. They collaborate with us to determine what mediums the Brand Fund should be allocated to based on what they’re seeing work. They also provide valuable feedback and insights into what best practices are working and helping their business grow so that we can utilize and distribute that information to the rest of the franchise system.

Right at Home already has agreements in place with many of the industry’s largest referral partners and providers. Dealing with a handful of large brands makes life easier for senior services providers because they can deal directly with one corporate office instead of making arrangements individually with thousands of individual in-home care providers. The benefit to the Right at Home system is that all Right at Home franchisees have access to these strategic partnerships at no additional cost. We’ve grouped the revenue opportunities for franchisees into three categories, as described at left.

Every month, our COO, Margaret Haynes, sends out a short Operational Video recapping the accomplishments of the last 30 days and what exciting things are coming within the next 30 days.

Our annual conference for owners and office staff provides an opportunity share experiences and expertise with peers. Attendees learn new ways to grow their business, collaborate with one another and rejuvenate for successful year to come. Plus, we celebrate achievements from the previous year.

Our newsletter is sent out to the system weekly via email. Taking a few moments each week to stay informed on upcoming events and changes throughout the industry as well as the Right at Home system will benefit your business in the long run.

The Right at Home Hub is a centralized online resource that we’ve developed to house multiple tools for our franchisees. From marketing materials, competitive insights, and how you rank amongst other franchisees to news items and internal communications, this tool is incredibly valuable.

Right at Home University is an online training program that our franchisees can use to train key staff and caregivers. It also gives franchisees the freedom and flexibility to develop their own “training classes,” which are often introductions and orientation to their specific office. They’re also able to bundle their classes as they see fit to implement courses above and beyond to facilitate a more robust staff or utilize this option to develop career paths for caregivers. The courses available on this platform are updated monthly to ensure compliance with state licensure, which is one less thing you have to worry about as a franchisee!

As part of the Right at Home franchise system, you, as a franchisee, have access to pre-negotiated discounts and pricing that you wouldn’t get as an individual due to the size of our system. Not only is this a benefit from a cost-savings standpoint, but it also saves our franchisees valuable time by allowing them to focus on their business while we assess the best vendors. These vendors are managed and evaluated by the corporate office regularly to ensure the best pricing and tools for our franchisees.

Capitol Watch is our monthly newsletter that keeps our franchisees abreast of new state and federal legislation and regulations that affect their business.

RightPulse is a free resource we use to help our franchisees gain better insights into how their office is running. This is done by surveying 5% of their clients and caregivers and then getting the results to the franchise owner so that they can make any adjustments as they see fit.

When your Performance Coach comes to visit your office, this provides you with unique and invaluable one-on-one time. During this time, they provide help and guidance in growing your business. Some of the things they may help you with while there are:
- Performing sales calls with you, either as the lead to show you how they do it or as a shadow to provide you with feedback.
- Performing in-home assessments for new clients, either as the lead to show you how they do it or as a shadow to provide you with feedback.
- In-person training with your office staff if need be.
