Nikki and Adam Magyar
Nikki and Adam Magyar are joining forces in the business world with complementary backgrounds that set them up nicely to successfully expand Right at Home in Orlando, Florida.
Nikki, a Florida native, obtained her bachelor’s degree in science and technology from the University of Miami. Immediately after graduation, Nikki entered the hospitality industry and built a career for more than 10 years working in sales and consulting with companies such as Wyndham, Omni, Waldorf Astoria, and Hilton.
Eventually, her career blossomed, relocating her to Orlando. There, she was introduced to her future husband, Adam. After they married, Adam remained in the hospitality industry while Nikki earned her real estate license before eventually becoming a stay-at-home mother of their two sons.
As their sons grew older, Nikki and Adam considered opening their own business and began exploring the possibility of franchising. Wanting to help others, Nikki and Adam soon realized that the in-home care industry was the perfect business opportunity for them. While compiling their research, Nikki and Adam came across an article in Forbes magazine, naming Right at Home as one of the top franchises to own.
Adam will continue working as Director of Contracting for Bonotel as he helps Nikki spearhead the growth of Right at Home in Orlando. The couple is excited to spread the brand’s mission and values to their community.
How did you find out about Right at Home?
We were doing research on the industry and found out about Right at Home through the Forbes article, sparking our interest.
Why did you choose an opportunity with Right at Home?
Right at Home’s mission spoke to us and the corporate team provided so much support and advice; we wanted to get involved with a company that matched our values.
What personal experience do you have in your own family with caring for a senior?
I grew up with a great-grandma who had diabetes. As a family, we took care of her as best as we could; eventually, we had someone come in to help her and us. My grandmother, who I was very close with, suffered from Parkinson’s. We had obligations with our own families that would get in the way. It was difficult to balance everything at once, and we wanted to ensure she felt as comfortable as possible. After she passed and we learned about in-home care, we felt that those services could have prolonged her life.
