What Kind of an Impact Does Right at Home’s Marketing Support Have on Your Business?

Gulraj Shapuri starts off by noting the marketing support provided by Right at Home is exceptional. It is so much more beneficial to have chosen Right at Home as a franchise rather than create a new brand and start his own business. He adds that they are proud to pay the franchise fee, but also the 2% brand fund fee because of the tremendous support. Shapuri notes that Right at Home Corporate provides online marketing specialists that help him get answers to all his media questions. He added that the support is a good safety net for his franchise because he wouldn’t have known where to start. Corporate provided the foundation, and he can now do a lot of other things in marketing his business.

What Kind of an Impact Does Right at Home’s Coaching Staff Have on Your Business?

Shapuri says “Our business performance coach is phenomenal and is there for us continuously.” When people have asked him, why do I need to go with a franchise, he tells them that their coach helps him out with all the questions he has. They will benchmark their business data and compare it to others to find out how they are doing. Plus, his coach provides him with many ideas. He helps connect him with the right people at Right at Home to answer any of his questions in a very timely manner. Gulraj knows that his coach is always available for him.

Looking at the Next 3-5 Years, What Makes You the Most Excited About Being a Right at Home Franchisee?

Gulraj is very proud to say Right at Home’s growth is inevitable. It will be the largest brand name in senior home care in a couple of years, and that’s a good feeling. Each Right at Home is privately owned and operated for the most part. And the owners themselves put their heart and soul into it. Gulraj also is very excited about the future because he is working with his performance group and coach to create a business plan and org chart for what a $5 million and $10 million operation looks like. With support like that, he can see the writing on the wall and knows he will get there. And that’s what excites him.

In Your Mind, How Has Right at Home Continued to Innovate?

In Gulraj’s mind, Right at Home has continued to innovate. At every Home Improvement conference, there are announcements about what is new and upcoming. He noted he was just in a session where they were teaching the owners about the new CRM platform that is on the horizon and how it was going to fit into their workflow. Right at Home can afford to create new products and expose them to their franchisees. Corporate also offers the opportunity at their conference to meet with a lot of their vendor partners. Our own franchise has signed up for a one-stop solution for caregivers. When a new caregiver comes to us, we can have them download the app and see everything to do with our franchise all connected through that app. Gulraj thinks these apps and the CRM are very innovative moves on Right at Home’s part. He doesn’t think anybody else in his territory is going to be doing anything close to that. It’s going to make things so much easier for anybody who signs up with them to be a caregiver.

In Your Mind, What is the Benefit of Being a Right at Home Franchisee?

Gulraj states, “The benefit of being a Right at Home franchisee is you would never want to do this by yourself.” He adds that a lot of people think they can create their own territory and go it alone. Small business success is hard enough, but doing it without a franchisor is like playing with fire. He sees how much of a bigger success he is because he decided to go with an established brand rather than go it alone. The Right at Home brand is also innovative and corporate provides tremendous support. They partner up with all the right people for the franchisees’ benefit.
