Right at Home is pleased to announce that Margaret Haynes, President and CEO of RiseMark and Right at Home, has been recognized as a 2026 McKnight’s Women of Distinction Hall of Honor honoree. McKnight’s is a nationally recognized news media publication for the home care, home health, hospice, and palliative care sectors.

McKnight’s announced 20 senior-level leaders across home care, senior living, and skilled nursing as 2026 Hall of Honor inductees. The Hall of Honor category is reserved for women at the vice president level or higher who have demonstrated sustained leadership excellence and have driven meaningful change throughout their careers. Inductees will be recognized May 4 in Chicago at the McKnight’s Women of Distinction Awards & Forum.

Margaret Haynes’ Leadership at Right at Home

Margaret joined Right at Home in 2011 and has been a driving force behind the organization’s growth, culture, and mission for more than 15 years. Throughout her tenure, she has held several key leadership roles, including leading the Support Services and Standards and Quality teams and serving as Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, Margaret strengthened operational performance, elevated care quality, and helped scale Right at Home’s global franchise system. Her leadership reinforced a culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and compassion—values that continue to define the organization today.

As President and CEO of RiseMark and Right at Home, Margaret now leads the company’s global vision and strategic direction. She oversees corporate operations, franchise development, clinical support, and innovation in care models, ensuring Right at Home remains at the forefront of the aging care industry.

Under her leadership, Right at Home supports more than 750 offices across 46 U.S. states and five countries and has achieved record-breaking care milestones.

 

National Industry Leadership and Advocacy

Margaret’s impact extends well beyond organizational growth. A nationally respected industry leader, she served as the 2024 President of the Home Care Association of America, advocating for providers, caregivers, and clients at the national level.

She is also a Certified Franchise Executive™ and a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, and she regularly shares her expertise through industry publications, conferences, and thought-leadership forums.

A Personal Commitment to the Mission of Care

At the heart of Margaret’s leadership is a deeply personal commitment to improving quality of life. Her experience as a family caregiver for her mother, who lived with Alzheimer’s disease, reinforced the profound difference compassionate, professional caregivers make for families.

That experience continues to guide her dedication to ensuring individuals can age with dignity and receive the support they need in their own homes.
