OMAHA, Neb. — Right at Home, the in-home care franchise with more than 750 locations in the United States, ended the third quarter on pace with 2025 development targets and is entering Q4 focused on finishing the year at or above target.
“Every year we have an annual goal for franchise signings and openings. As of today, we are on track to meet that goal,” said Jen Chaney, Senior Vice President of Franchise Development and Sales for Right at Home. “We fell a little bit behind at the beginning of Q3, but we caught up by the end of the quarter. We did that with more engagement, more connections, and more outreach. We are tracking to meet — if not exceed by a smidge — our annual goal by December 31. So Q3 for us, as far as sales, was right on.”
Right at Home advanced two areas — technology to support family-caregiver coordination and expanded services for people living with dementia. The RightAssist program pairs a discreet monitoring bracelet with an app, giving families visibility into activity at home and giving caregivers actionable context for the next visit. “It’s a way for the family to monitor their senior without being there and to partner with Right at Home while the caregiver isn’t there either,” Chaney said. Owner councils reviewed uptick and utilization during Q3, and adoption continues to grow among franchisees and clients.
The company also moved forward with Medicare’s GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) program, broadening access for eligible beneficiaries and their families. “This is a really big thing for us and for people on Medicare Parts A and B to take advantage of a service from a caregiver to support loved ones with dementia,” Chaney said.
Performance in the field continues to be tied to talent. The brand widened use of its applicant tracking system to simplify hiring and deepened recognition efforts through its Caribou partnership. “Recruiting and retaining caregivers is a very big part of our business. We like to say caregivers are the heartbeat of our business,” Chaney said. “Caregivers want to be employed where they feel recognized, appreciated, and valued. This partnership helps with recognition and retention to make it a great place of employment where they want to stay and feel rewarded and valued.”
Development is focused on sustaining late-year momentum in the Upper Midwest and strengthening the pipeline for 2026. Priority markets include Minnesota — Minneapolis, Duluth, and Superior — and Illinois, with attention on southern Chicago, Rockford, Davenport, Bolingbrook, and Rock Island. “We have two more Discovery Days left in Q4,” Chaney said. “We’re on track to meet that goal.”
Operationally, the system set a new internal watermark. “We reached an all-time current high for weekly billable hours,” Chaney said. “We set a new goal for Q4, and I feel confident the forecast shows we’ll meet — and hopefully exceed — that as well.”
Right at Home closes Q3 with a clear finish line: hit its annual development goal while expanding tools and programs that support families, caregivers, and owners. With targeted market focus, steady private-pay demand, and growing tech-enabled services, the brand enters Q4 positioned to deliver on what Chaney outlined — a year that ends on plan and sets the stage for continued growth in 2026.
